Day Eight: June 28th, 2018

Today, I finished reading the book Laura gave me yesterday, "The Short Con" by Aleks Seanwald and Pete Toms. After that, I read the first two issues of an original EEP book. As mentioned earlier, I am not allowed to discuss anything EEP creates, therefore I can't say the name of this book series. My last reading of the day was DC Comic's "Shade the Changing Girl; Issue one: 'Earth Girl Made Easy.'" After reading each story, I completed my usual coverage letters and sent them to Laura.

Next, Laura and I started discussing my pitch for the end of the summer. She sent me a "character sheet" Word document. This will help me establish everything about my characters before I even layout my story, and it consists of literally everything a character needs to be three-dimensional. This includes his physical appearance (height, weight, eye and hair color, distinguishable marks, nationality, etc.), background (hometown, first memory, religious views, names of schools, first job, etc.), family and relationship with each member, employment (where he works, how many years, relationship with co-workers, dream job, etc.), attitude (philosophy, greatest fear, when he is at most ease, etc.) personality (greatest strength, greatest weakness, soft spot, etc.), and much much more. The document requires so much information, I did not even finish my first character today.

My protagonist does not have a name yet, but I established his personality, background, family life, strengths, weaknesses, and physical appearance. Even though I am creating these characters myself, I can't present any information on them here, as they are technically being created under EEP's roof.
